The dial also has a subsidiary seconds dial, a "oil change" indicator, and a day/night indicator. The oil change indicator is a sort of service guide that advises you when to send your watch back to Urwerk for a (pricey) service. It is an homage to such indicators on cars. Future variations on the UR-110 are likely to have alternative complications. I feel as though the dial is a bit incomplete. While it is clean, the sandblasted surface under the satellite system for the hours feels a bit bare. The lume color (and possibly the volume that is applied) is, in fact, the primary difference between the PVD black Streamliner and the Kryptonite, as far as I can tell (not even sure a new name was necessary). In a titanium case with black AlTiN-coating that measures 39.5mm wide by 53mm long by 17.8mm thick, the specs and UR 5.03 movement inside are all the same. Titanium is nice and light so it should help make a big watch like this more wearable. Urwerk designed a fresh look for the dial with some unique parts that make up the still very modern display. The dial is also symmetrical with the moon phase indicator in the center. The Urwerk EMC Time Hunter comes in two colour options, each limited to 15 pieces each. You can have the watch in an untreated grade 5 titanium case, but I love the military-inspired green ceramic-coated grade 5 titanium and steel case. The watch is 43mm wide, and 51mm from lug to lug. The weird, woven strap reminded me of some rugged military equipment more than the straps I usually find factory fitted on other luxury watches – and that's all very well. It's top tier quality, as it should be, and so is the regular tang buckle that's also been coated. The padding on the strap near the case rendered it a bit stiffer than I'd prefer, though I imagine that was a trade-off made in favor of a more secure, wobble-free fit – and that I can appreciate. Maybe it's just me, but I'd love to see this watch on vibrant colored straps – or some dark brown croc with a strong, deep pattern, even. Watch service people and watchmakers use electronic timing tools to measure how accurate mechanical movements are. When watch movements are produced they are initially "regulated" and things like shock, temperature, etc… can change how well a watch movement is regulated over time. Most watches should be put on timing machines each few years and potentially adjusted by skilled hands. Some hardcore collectors even have their own timing machines. All of this is in the pursuit of knowing just how accurate your watches are, and trying to tweak them a bit.
